[pullquote align=”full” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]Today and tomorrow Canon is unveiling the future of imaging at Canon Expo 2015. It’s an event that is held once every five years in New York City and Paris. If you are interested in the latest Canon camera gear and tech, it would behoove you to check back here throughout tomorrow.[/pullquote]
Yours truly will be attending Canon Expo 2015 tomorrow and will be blogging updates throughout the day, in an effort to bring as much content as possible from the show to your screen! I’ll also have the opportunity to attend some great seminars led by a few fantastic photographers. I’m certain it won’t be quite as exciting as yesterday’s Apple event, but for those of us that have been shooting Canon for years, or just picked up a Rebel recently, it should be insightful and interesting.
Canon is also touting they will have a pre-production 8k production camera on display at the show as well. The venue is setup more or less by industry, including all of their medical technology and printing solutions. I’ll be focusing my coverage on photography and videography production tools, but if anything interesting catches my eye I’ll be sure to have an update.
I may even sneak up the road to B&H and grab the newly released Canon 50mm 1.8 STM lens, the ‘new’ nifty-fifty as they call it (more details to follow on this likely amazing $120 lens).
Lastly, I’m sure there will be some live Periscoping, so make sure to follow me on Periscope (@jvaruzzo).
